     Title: Becontree come 8th at Stevenage

Becontree Brass Band came 8th at the London and Southern Counties Regional Championship.

The test piece, "New World Sketches", by Dan Price, was exciting to work on, and the band felta little disappointed with the mid table result. The day itself was a great success - a communal coach ride up to Stevenage, a pre-contest rehearsal, and then the results and the coach ride back all showed the solid team spirit in the band.
