Becontree to compete at Folkstone

Becontree will compete at the Southern Counties Amateur Band Association contest in Folkstone, held on the weekend of 18 and 19 October.

Richard Marshall and David Thornton from Black Dyke Band join Becontree for concert

On 16 November, Richard Marshall, principal cornet and David Thornton, principal euphonium of Black Dyke will join Becontree for a special concert in Barnardo's Church, Barkingside.

Becontree come fourth at Folkestone

Becontree competed at the SCABA contest in Folkestone on 19 October, and came a very creditable 4th place. Graham Chambers won the Conductors Prize.
